The end is geting closer the book is at the printers and it is very close now.  The book will be here before Christmas. It is great to be able to preserve ,the history of the Familys of Whroo I so glad and honoured to be involed in such a project and presenting it in a picture form. I feel sure that this book will be well received by familys how, share with me, the history of the Whroo pioneers 

I have meet Mrs Ellen Bazeley. She is one of loveliest ladies I have meet, I take my hat off to her.

We have an other tape on the list This will be 20. Some of the former residents have passed on, it is great to have these taps There history will live on

I have started my friends list and started my favourit web sites.

WE are sending out permission letters for the families to sign and return we will have the things ready to go when time comes for publication

I had the pleasure to go to the reunion of the LeRoy family in the fitzroy Gardens and took some paper work and the tape recorder and some lunch and had a good day it might be out of my way but I love it. Just to relive the past and learn their history.

Whroo  has changed from a bustling gold mining town of 8,000 or so people 64 businesses school 3 churches and over 100 houses they are all gone today at  Whroo is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a pincic or a B.B.Q you can also camp for free  think of days gone by.  

I had a great week with some great photos and history it makes my day full and alive.

WE had an add put in the Herald Sun on Sunday15-1-2006 and we had a few responses it was great we have more family the more the merrier

This week we had more families searching for their early history at Whroo.

I am hoping to put out as much information that I have and would hope that others will add to it so we will preserve our histroy. The hardshipe of our ancestors is worth remembering - we all look back and search for our past.

There was a reunion of the Victorian scottish Union Centenary conference was at Rushworth I was there guest speaker I spoke on how it is very importaint to preserve  history and we took a lot of pictures
