December 14 Chinese on GoldfieldsWe had two Chinese ladies write some thing in Chinese for our history Book of The families of Whroo. Then we tried to get the Chinese writing translated into English. We tried many Chinese families without success. Then we went to the Golden Dragon Museum in Bendigo and they were great The translation is Live Through Hard times in victorian goldfields Your successors will remember you forever Hope your souls are now at rest. December 12 Ngooraialum Aboriginal elderThis aboriginal elder is from the Ngooraialum tribe his name is King Charles Tattambo his wife was Queen Mary he died in 1866 and is buried in Murchison. A great leader of his poeple.
It is comeing togetherThe end is geting closer the book is at the printers and it is very close now. The book will be here before Christmas. It is great to be able to preserve ,the history of the Familys of Whroo I so glad and honoured to be involed in such a project and presenting it in a picture form. I feel sure that this book will be well received by familys how, share with me, the history of the Whroo pioneers |
